Opinion It did not activate on download abudworth at mac.com

I bought MacWasher X 1.1 a few years ago for my eMac. I now have a Mac Pro. It always seemed to be doing something whenever I ran it. After reading about problems some people were having using MacWasher, I decided to put it to the test. I unclicked everything in preferences except for the trash, thinking that this would be an easy test (basic DoD standard) and I would soon have to try it at the next level. It busily worked for an hour, then unexpectedly quit. The trash was completely untouched.

Able to download but unable to open. I am able to download Macwasher but when I click on the link to install I keep getting, "the application install macwasher quit unexpectedly."When I click relaunch or reset and relaunch I continue to get the same message. I have the same program for Windows and I have never had any problems! Thank You!

Will not launch I downloaded, extracted and then was stymied by the inability to launch the program. OS 10.5.2

MacWasher Wont Work on my computer Have not been able to access this program since installation. We have MacWasher OS9 on another computer and think it is great! For this reason we wanted MacwasherX for our new OS X Machine.

I found RecordPad to be extremely useful! Just wanted to take quick notes, but, like the brilliant Evernote, sometimes a simple piece of software does it best. Thanks!

RecordPad is a very good little tool, but since I was trying to save an audio streaming youtube, it was unable to capture the audio information as the youtube file played. Other than that, RecordPad is perfect for all other audio-capturing applications. I probably didn't do enough research about what RecordPad offered when I selected it, or otherwise didn't understand that it couldn't collect streaming audio. My bad.Or, perhaps your literature can better reflect this? Or perhaps you'll consider allowing streaming audio capture in a different RecordPad? Does what it says on the tin Where GarageBand falls down (as with all Apple Software) is that it isn't very good at exporting to standard file formats, so you cannot record and save something in MP3 or WAV format. It is therefore useless for recording vocals or a live mix. great, simple sound recorded While I am a professional sound guy, my Dad isn't. He needed a simple, easy to use Mac OS X voice recorder, and this is just about perfect. Only complaint is that the playlist window does not remember it's position from one launch to the next.

Missing a key feature My use requires an app to run in the background and do the following:(1) based on non-silence encountered, create new audio file and record.(2) based on silence for a user-defined duration, close opened audio file

Not for me The program does not differentiate what is coming through the sound card and what the computer mike picks up -- the program lays down both in the audio tracks. Not helpful to have room noises in a recording.

Not happy with the results I tried to optimize a 64k swf file, but I only saved 4k (64k file ended up as 60k). Therefore, it really isn't worth the trouble. I needed to bring the file from 64k to 40k without changing the quality of my movie. I am really disappointed with the results.

Don`t waste your time It's a good product but the trial is seriously limited. I just wanted to compress 1 .swf file. The trial restrictions only let me do this with and save it to black and white and I'm not going to pay $99 to compress 1 file by 5k! Technically I'd give it 7 out of 10. Business/pricing wise, 2 out of 10.

Coment to program. Don't like this program, I can't see the result a color to full monitor. This is a problem because I don't know the true result of the optimization, in the size of the file swf in the Web.

Good for mac users. Good for mac users and it feel good when someone is creating these type of tools with keeping Mac users in mind!

Crashed evey time I try it. Should be useful if it works, I made my swf with quark interactive designer and I always got unexpected. Quitting using flash optimizer.

So far so good! Hi, I downloaded the trial version yesterday and compressed my Flash files. Your software did a good job cutting the file sizes in half, just what I needed to get them smaller for the web. One question, is there a feature that will allow me to combine my individual Flash files into a single optimized/compressed file in the end? Thanks!

Review of ELtima SWF to FLA Converter for MacOS I do work for a company that backed up it's SWF's but not it's FLA's. Didn`t do it. SWF to FLA converter didn't do what I wanted, break a SWF into frames for later conversion to a gif89a. I gave up and used the original swf file in our site. Too bad. Otherwise, the software looks like it might be useful some day.

Failure, fraud The Flash optimizer doesn't work as it was explained in the website. it said the file could be edited again in flash application, which it doesn't happens; the result is a swf movie with not editable option.It also takes away the quality of the graphics and movie clips, even that I used the minimum quality compress option.

Worked well The demo version seemed to work well for me and pretty fast.My files were cut down to half the size. However color files will come out in B/W until you buy it.I feel it's a good program, but price should be "optimized" to $40 or $50.$99.00 seems a bit steep and I do have other options. So for now I think I'll just do some editing on my images to get the file size down.

Good product Flash optimizer works great. It does everything its advertised to do. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Feedback Hi guys! Whilst the program is in itself maybe ok I found that it did not give me enough options. Also I could not find instructions. Perhaps it was me but I was trying to create a banner of a certain size and could not find a way to tell it what size I wanted etc etc . Not what I needed I wanted a program to make .mov Quicktime movies into 3gp format for my phone. The Mpeg-4 works but i-Movie has greater flexibility in Share>Quicktime>Expert settings.

It doesn`t work! When I click on the alias of the app. icon nothing happens, if sort of flashes and then nothing. Loved it! I loved this program. I've been looking for something like this ever since I got my iPod several months ago and have only found useless junk to convert my stash of MPEG and AVI files.
